GUIDELINES
- Honorary Observers will receive QuikTrip on 12 venue tickets and a preferred parking pass for entrance into the tournament on the day of their assignment
- Honorary Observers must check in at least one (1) hour prior to the start of the assigned tee time.
- Honorary Observers should go to the Honorary Observer check-in table for registration and briefing. The check-in table will be located near the 1st Tee.
- The Honorary Observer committee will distribute the following items upon check-in:
- Lanyard with programs guidelines insert
- Inside The Ropes Honorary Observer sticker
- A PGA TOUR Champions Rules Official will brief each Observer prior to their round.
FIRST TEE PROCEDURES
- The starter will introduce each Honorary Observer to the PGA TOUR Champions players in their group.
- Our tournament photographer will take a photograph of each Honorary Observer group with the PGA TOUR Champions players.
- The first tee photograph will be provided to each Observer at the completion of their round.
GENERAL RULES
- Make sure to turn off your cell phone or set it on silent!
- Honorary Observers are not permitted to ride in the professional player carts.
- Honorary Observer Credentials are not transferable.
- Honorary Observers have access to the snacks and water provided to players on each tee.
- Rules Officials will monitor the conduct of each Honorary Observer. Failure to adhere to the guidelines will result in a warning to the Observer, followed by notification to the Tournament Staff who will be asked to closely monitor the Observer for further indiscretions.
- Appropriate dress must be worn (shorts, pants, sneakers or soft spike golf shoes). Cut-off shorts, t-shirts, jeans and metal spike golf shoes are prohibited.
- Honorary Observers must join their assigned group on the player’s first hole. If they do not arrive prior to their tee time, they will not be able to use their Honorary Observer position for that day.
- Honorary Observers who do not have the stamina to walk all 18 holes may leave the group after nine holes, but they cannot rejoin their group at a later time as this is too disruptive to the players.
